Cornell Note-Taking System is a popular method of note-taking, originally proposed by Professor Walter Pauk of Cornell University, with the aim of helping students record classroom content more effectively and enhance learning outcomes. This note-taking method divides a page horizontally into three sections, with about 1/3 of the space on the left as the main column (the main note-taking area), about 2/3 of the space on the right as the abbreviation column, and a small section at the bottom as the summary column. It aids note-takers in systematically organizing and reviewing their notes.
